Return to the house of God(dard)

O-si-yo gigglelo, giggle's website development team worked from the current design to offer Maidstone Studios a content management system and Search Engine Optimisation

How are we all today? We’re suffering slighty here - last night we had a meeting with Mr Daniels from Tennessee and that man gives you a sore head.

Anyway, The Maidstone TV Studios, home to the likes of the wonderful Basil Brush and that bastion of British Culture, Trisha Godard, got in touch and asked us if we could take their old site and add a CMS system and make it Search Engine Optimised. So we did.

Not only can they now change content whenever the mood takes them, but we already have them moving up the charts in Google searches under their necessary keywords. Good, huh?

Keep your eyes open, because very soon we will be designing them a tip-top multimedia site - keep em peeled, cause it’s gonna be something!

CUT! above the other websites

Wimafa Shoo giggleloos!Website creation, CMS, Content Management and E-Commerce. And Video and Film. We do it all here at the gigglehouse!

Ok. We’ve not been on here for months. You’ve all got on with your lives. But we missed you, so here we are.

We’ve just done a website for our friend Craig, who’s a very talented camera man who has worked on shows like House and Numbers and that show where the bloke from NYPD Blue talks in a deep, slow voice and takes off his sunglasses a lot. In Miami.

So, we’ve knocked up a nifty little flash site for him to display his ample talents. Why don’t you check it out here.

There ain’t nothing wrong….. with a little steel and grind!

U du tah ma little giggla’s,

harbexHow are we all? I’m happy, cause the sun’s out where we are!  Fabulous!

Just thought we’d drop you a line and let you know about an exciting little project we’ve been working for Harbex, a rather successful profiling and grinding company based in Kent.

The clients most web-savvy man, our new friend Tom, wanted to be able to update the site to ensure the content always stayed fresh.  So, we built them a content management system.

It has to be said, our new friend Tom and all his collegues were all rather impressed with the results and are now writing news like a fleet street hack with integrity.

Read all about it by clicking here.

It would be, it would be so nice!

Koaha Giggala’s,

this is the lovely Sam MckeeHow are you? It’s been ages again I know, but we still love you. Don’t ever forget that!

We’ve just created a new website for the lovely people of Sam Mckee via our friends at the Bowen and Bowen agency.

Updating their original website, the new site uses photos from my holiday as a background - although none of them actually have me in them. That would be stupid.

As they didn’t have any branding per say, we also designed a logo to use on the site, which they were so enamoured with, they are now using across all their advertising. Cool, huh?

Anyway, check it out, dear friends, check it out here.

Oh, and the headline is a tenious link to the Modonna song ‘Holiday’, which sort of ties in to what Sam Mckee do. We were going to put in ‘We’re all going on a summer holiday’, but we didn’t want you all to start thinking we were actual Cliff Richard fans.

I’m Spinning Around (but my contents are upright)

fillaball

Moreme giggalee’s,

I know, I know, we seem to be neglecting you of late, but we’re just sooooooo busy it’s hard to dedicate the time properly. But I promise, we shall neglect you for only a little while longer. We realise it’s a mistake. We were thinking of you the whole time. It meant nothing!

Now, we normally wouldn’t plug another Kent based company like this, but as part of our blog is all about great ideas, we have to tell you about Fillaball. Fillaball is a ball that operates on a gimble, so inside you can store anything and that anything will stay upright the whole time - but the rolling ball means it’s now easy to carry ‘things’ across surfaces of all kinds - sand, steps, rocks and all sorts!

No, we don’t own shares in them, you cynics you, we just think this is a seriously good idea! Although, with something as cool as that, we obviously talking about working with them now! Check them out at www.fillaball.com

It’s so funny…. how we don’t talk anymore.

sir cliff of richardWell, it’s not that funny I guess. You’re probably upset my little sausages and I don’t blame you, but we’re very busy bees at the moment. Rest assured we will talk soon and then you won’t ever have to listen to that Cliff Richard song ever again. We promise.

Get a Sleeper Hold Of This!

powerslam mag

Irankaratte my little gigglattes,

We are more excited than a bunch of school-boys in spandex standing in a ring tag-teaming against a bad guy with Hulk Hogan. The Big Daddy of Wrestling magazines, Powerslam, has finally decided it’s time to get online and have asked your dear old friends here at the gigglehouse to step up to the rope and take on the challenge.

Powerslam is one of the longest running independent wrestling magazines in the world at the ripe old age of 14 years. They’ve got a worldwide readership of 35,000 every month. That’s impressive wouldn’t you say.

They’ve decided to start off slowly with a micro-site to help with their numerous subscriptions and back issues, but very soon will be looking to expand the site into something that will put everyone else out for the 3 count.

Right, it’s been lovely, but we’ve got to be off. Martin and Oliver are busy constructing a steel cage for tonights special giggle event. In the Blue Corner…..

Well, with a name like giggle what do you expect?

Dasubu giggleloobys,

hotspot logoHow are you all doing? We’re slightly upset here at the gigglehouse - it seems the sun tricked most of us into thinking it was going to be a lovely day, but it is cooooooold! Some of us haven’t even brought jackets!

Anyhoo, it seems the giggle name is attracting those that like to make us laugh - once again our design talents have been called upon to help launch a night of comedy called ‘The Comedy Hotspot’. It involves the world’s smallest stage appearing in pubs up and down the country, with some seriously hilarious fellas standing on it and telling some jokes. Just the kind of thing we like.

We sat down and worked out a cool logo for the night, then whacked it all in a rather attractive looking poster and flyer (the website follows soon). The promoter was a pleased as the punch (proverbial) and has now told us we can get in for free on the night. Which isn’t much of an offer as it’s free to everyone.

If you fancy checking out the next night and want to know more, click here to go to the facebook event page.

Have a Shuffle and a Giggle too…

You could be the proud owner of a lovely silver iPod Shuffle (these things are very tiny.) A lovely little Shuffle

All you have to do is send us your weather-related pun (see our advert in YourMaidstone, free newspaper, issue 5, pg.7… where you’ll always find our ad.)

We’re always under the weather in that paper and as there is nothing more we love than a pun, we do a weather related one every week. Then we thought, hey, our dear gigglers can do it for us. So this week we let Oliver keep his lunch money and stole his Ipod Shuffle instead - and now we offer it to you, dear friends, if you can pun to impress and send it to us at competitions@gigglecreative.com

And why not sign-up for our weekly mail-out and recieve gigglenews live to your inbox?  We often tel of the stupidest ideas we’ve heard, the best ideas, we update you on what’s going on at the gigglehouse and occassionally we give stuff away like an Ipod Shuffle.  It’s got to be worth it.
The winner will be picked in time for the Halloween advert on the 31st of October.
Why not sign-up here and get the newspaper on your desktop every Wednesday morning?
